Playfold ("Playfold," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Marcelo Laprea. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App and the choices available to you.
Playfold is an offline-first collection of board, card, word, party, and puzzle games. Most games can be played against the computer or by passing one device between players without creating a Playfold account. Optional online services support nearby multiplayer, Game Center multiplayer, purchases, advertising, and feedback.
Playfold stores information locally so that the App can remember your choices and game progress. This may include:
This local information is not routinely sent to us. You can remove it by deleting the App, subject to your device and backup settings.
Playfold also writes limited onboarding events to Apple's unified logging system on the device for diagnostics. These events identify the onboarding step or selected play style, not your name or contact details. System logs are controlled by Apple and your device settings.
If you choose online play, Playfold uses Apple Game Center to authenticate you, find or invite players, and exchange live match data. Playfold may receive your Game Center player identifier and display name and may transmit game configuration, game state, moves, and preset in-game reactions to other participants in the match.
Apple operates Game Center and controls the Game Center account information it processes. Playfold does not receive your Apple Account password. Your Game Center profile and activity are subject to your Apple settings and Apple's Game Center privacy notice.
If you choose nearby play, Playfold uses Apple's local-network and peer-to-peer connectivity features to discover and connect devices near you. Other nearby Playfold users may see the device display name used for the room. Connected devices exchange a room identifier, player name, game configuration, game state, moves, and preset reactions directly for the session.
